Family Eye Care of O’Fallon offers two treatment options for children in our Myopia Management Program:

MiSight daily disposable contact lenses that are worn 6 days a week and specifically designed to control myopia. These are the only FDA approved lenses for myopia management.

Atropine eye drop therapy that is used in a low-dose, nightly before bedtime. This treatment has not yet been approved by the FDA for myopia management.

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Office is completely accessible. Dr. Kloke was very patient when examining my special-needs daughter. Would highly recommend Family Eye Care to others.

Family Eye Care of O’Fallon is now mask optional as per American Optometric Association and Illinois state guidelines.

You may still see some of our doctors and staff wearing masks from time to time as this is up to their discretion.

You may also request that your doctor and any staff member you interact with to wear a mask during your visit. We are happy to accommodate your request.

On behalf of our Family Eye Care team, we thank you for your support and promise to continue putting your health and safety first.

Family Eye Care of O’Fallon is happy to announce that all of our doctors and staff have now received their full vaccinations.

As we continue on our journey to safely servicing our patients, please understand the additional precautions we have implemented to keep you and your family healthy and safe:

In order to keep a safe patient flow, we will require you to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late.

Requiring patients, doctors, and staff to wear face masks while in the building.

Minimizing the use of our waiting area – patients are taken directly to one of our 8 exam rooms for paperwork, exams and special testing whenever possible.

Maintaining a “no visitor” policy requiring all patients over the age of 18 to come to their appointment alone unless there are special circumstances.

Allowing one additional person in the building after exam completion to assist with eyeglass selection.

Sanitizing all eyeglass frames that are touched in our UV sanitizer.

Thoroughly disinfecting exam rooms and testing areas between each patient visit.

Limiting the number of people inside the building at any given time, and enforcement of social distancing.

We have added portable UV-Sterilizing air filters to each exam room.

Appointments are not necessary to come in and purchase / pick up glasses or contacts, but we may ask you to wait outside if overcrowding were to occur.

If you prefer curbside pickup, our staff is happy to help. Just call when you are outside our office, and we will deliver to your car.

The doctors and staff of Family Eye Care value your time, and we strive to maintain a timely schedule every day.

New patients, please help us to provide you and your fellow patients with the best experience possible by taking a moment to download and complete our revised Patient Registration and Patient Health History forms prior to arriving for your scheduled appointment.

Existing patients, we will have your information printed and ready for you to review when you arrive for your appointment.

All patients, please bring in a printed list of all your current medications along with your forms. Why? Most of us have a difficult time remembering our medication names, spellings, and quantities. Creating and saving a handy list that can be printed out on-demand and brought with you to your doctor’s office will save both you and your doctor time and follow up phone calls.

Arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time will also allow us time to input your completed forms and medication list into your Electronic Health Care Record so that the data is available to your doctor at the time of your exam.

Friendly, competent service. Most accurate exams I’ve had in 50+ years — prescription right the first time.
